This retail-led redevelopment adds to a portfolio of similar schemes delivered by the company over the last four decades.
A major regeneration project in one of the UK’s most historic cities, the redevelopment of Hereford’s former livestock market has created a new retail and leisure quarter.
The 29,000m2 scheme comprises a department store, a six-screen cinema, a variety of shops and restaurants and 600 parking spaces.
Involved in the project from an early stage, we worked closely with the design team in preconstruction, applying our expertise in cost control, programming, logistics and buildability to the developing scheme.
The project has had a positive impact on the local economy with our team working to ensure companies from the surrounding area benefit from the opportunities the development offers. Meet the Contractor events resulted in contracts for a number of local businesses and suppliers.
The development won the New Centre category at the British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) Gold Awards 2014.
